Delisa is a very elegant and refined filly that enchants with her curiosity and feminine nature. Much to our amazement, the name our 5 year old daughter chose for her means “pleasure” and “delight”, finding its origin in Greek Mythology through the Goddess Artemis who was born on the island of Delos. Much like Artemis, who was one of the most revered Greek deities we believe Delisa will bring abundance of joy to her future owner.

Dannebrog (Don Schufro – Brentano II – Arogno) completed his 300 Day Stallion Performance Test in 2010 with fantastic scores, finishing 3rd overall in Dressage with an impressive index of 135.74. His individual scores highlight his fantastic mind and overall high quality; Walk 9, Trot 9, Character 9, Rideability 9, Canter 8, Temperament 8, Willingness to Work 8 and Constitution 8. He has produced 2 licensed sons, multiple Elite Mares, as well as several dozen offspring with successful competition records. and has dressage breeding index of 127.

Delisa’s Dam Wailea is by Westporte, who through his lineage (Wolkentanz I (Weltmeyer) – Fabriano)) also offers some of the best bloodlines of German dressage breeding . She is the star of our barn, outproducing herself every time, ranging from the champion dressage foal at Spruce Meadows to a youngster now in training with an Olympic rider. Her maternal grandsire Belisar is considered one of the most influential Dutch dressage stallions, having won his stallion performance test, not only has he produced several approved sons, but today his name can be also found in the damline of many successful, highly athletic sport horses.
