SOLD – Congratulations to Lori in Tennessee!
Sanssouci is a 2014 Hanoverian mare by Sir Gregory out of Sanszi (Santano/Domingo/Lombard). She has 3 beautiful expressive and elastic gaits. She is looking to please and is a mare that will be very dedicated to her person. She has a strong personality, but is eager to learn and be loved, and is looking for a rider that can give her the structure, discipline and love to make her excel.
Her dam Sanszi was sired by the Hanoverian Stallion Santano who was licensed in 1995 and purchased by the Celle State stud. He completed his 300 day stallion performance test at Adelheidsdorf with an excellent dressage score of 131.37 points (3rd in dressage). He was then sold and imported to the US, where he was developed through the Grand Prix levels. Santano’s Sire Sao Paulo was still active breeding at the Celle State Stud until his death in 2017. Sanszi’s maternal grandsire Domingo was also competed up to the Grand Prix levels in the US by Hilda Gurney, achieving very good scores, before continuing this success under another rider.
Sanssouci was lightly started as a 3 year old and has been in professional training for the past year and has been trained according to the training scale. She is a very talented mare that is ready to start her show career.
